Sermons

Jesus teaches a large crowd in parables, explaining that the Word of God is received differently by people—some reject it, some fall away, some are choked by distractions, and others accept it and bear great fruit. Through the parables of the lamp, the growing seed, and the mustard seed, he reveals that God’s kingdom is meant to be understood by attentive hearts and will grow powerfully from small beginnings by God’s work.
