We are done! Today, we finished the shed by installing the windows, adding trim, building the door and finishing the roof. Another team blessed the church by sanding and repainting the iron gate at the entrance of the church we are lodging at. After our work was complete, we visited the other Paradise ridge to see the valley where the fire came up through, and prayed for the families in that area.
We helped prepare a few dishes for the community dinner here at the church and visited with believers from the area. No one came that was specifically invited at our night in the park, but we will be praying that God is able to touch their hearts. I know the whole team has been incredibly impacted by our time here, and we thank you greatly for your prayers and support. No one was hurt and we worked as a unified team.
Ann has been hard at work creating a plaque to hang on the "wall of teams" that they have hanging the gathering room where we have met for meetings, to talk, and to hang out. She finished it today, and we all signed it, so it can be hung under the one completed by out team last year.
After breakfast tomorrow, we will clean up where we stayed and hit the road by mid-morning. Thank you for your continued prayers for safe travels home.
