I know that I have an account, but I cannot access it. What do I do?

If you know that you have an account but are unable to log into it, there are several possible reasons why. Here are some of them.

  • The account may have been created using a different email address.
  • You may not be using the correct password.
  • There may have been a typo when the account was originally created.

If you are not able to gain access by attempting to remedy the above issues, please have your group leader call Forest Home for assistance.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT.

I filled out the required forms so why does my registration still say they are missing?

Often the completion of forms needs to be checked off manually by our staff so it may not show up immediately after you have completed them. Please be sure to fill all forms out completely and Student Ministries will reach out to you if you are missing anything. Please watch for emails regarding this and other important camp information.

Is there financial assistance available?

At this time, Trinity Church is unable to offer any discounts or scholarships, however, Forest Home is offering scholarships and they must be requested no later than May 1. Please contact Student Ministries with your student’s name, amount requesting and reason for scholarship. Students must be registered and have all forms filled out before requesting scholarships.

How do I make payments and when is $ due?

You can make payments by logging into your registration or by calling the church office to pay by credit card over the phone. Cash and checks can be turned in at the front office. Balance due reminder emails will be sent out occasionally which will have a link that you can use to pay online. There is a $100 non-refundable deposit due when you register. The remaining balance is due June 16.

How are the students getting to and from camp?

Parents are responsible for dropping off and picking up their students at Forest Home. There will not be a bus this year.

When is drop off and pick up?

Drop off: Sunday, June 30, 3:00-5:00 pm at Forest Home (exact location will be emailed before camp)

Can preferred roomate requests be made?

Yes, you can make roommate requests when registering. We will do our best to honor roommate requests whenever possible.

Can my student bring their phone (or other electronic devices) to camp?

Students are not allowed to bring cell phones to camp. Forest Home’s cell phone policy is:

Due to our Forest Home's  commitment to providing guests with sanctuary and solitude, they are a cell-phone free destination for all children and youth. This means that they will continue to ask young campers to leave all electronics (including cell-phones) at home. Student Ministries will provice parents with Pastor Jerrod’s phone number at check-in to use in case of an emergency or you can call Forest Home directly at 909-389-2300. If any student needs to contact their parent, Pastor Jerrod will make his phone available to them for that purpose. Thank you for your understanding!

What should my student(s) pack?

A packing list will be sent out as we get closer to camp when they send us the list for our specific camp. Forest Home’s website has general packing information. Remember to label all items with your student’s name.

How do I get updates about camp once I’ve registered?

Check your emails often, especially in the weeks leading up to camp as it gets closer to when camp starts. Also check your spam folder if you haven’t heard anything. When registering, make sure your email address is correct. You can also contact student ministries with any questions at Student Ministries or call 909-335-7333.

I need fundraising ideas.

We realize that camp is costly and therefore encourage students to send out fundraising letters to friends and family asking them to partner in investing in their spiritual growth and walks with the Lord. It’s been said one week of camp is equivalent to one whole year of youth group. Things to include in your letter are:

    • Where you are going and why you’re excited for this summer camp
    • What summer camp means to you personally and for your relationship with Christ
    • How their prayers and support helps you
    • How they can give to your account

What is your cancellation policy?

To receive a refund (minus the $100 deposit), you must cancel by June 16. If you cancel after this date, you will not receive a refund.

Does my student need to bring spending money?

Spending money is not a necessity at camp but many students will want to purchase snacks or souvenirs during the week. Forest Home is cashless. Please go to their Store Card webpage to set up an electronic store card. You can also add/check the balance on this page as well as request a refund for the remaining balance.

.

Does the camp accommodate dietary needs?

Forest Home recognizes there may be dietary needs and allergy requirements. Our kitchens do not serve or store any products with nuts. If you have a specific dietary requirement or restriction, contact our Guest Dining department with your specifications (including peanut allergies) one week prior to your stay at 909-389-2271.

What do I need to do if my student is bringing medication (including over-the counter medicine)?

If your student is bringing any medicine to camp (including over the counter medications), read the following instructions on how to send it to camp: Forest Home’s Medication Policy. These instructions must be followed exactly. Please print and fill out the Medicine Post-Card and put it with your student’s medicine in a Ziploc bag to be collected at check-in. An Allergy Action Plan (completed by your doctor) is required for anyone with a severe allergy that requires an Epi pen: Allergy Action Plan
