Advent Conspiracy 2022 Mid-year Project Updates
In November-December 2022, the Advent Consipiracy Project goal of $55,000 was reached. Let's celebrate each project update below througout the year.
Light & Power
The Light & Power prom is the biggest annual event of the year. Over 250 class members, guests and other adults with disabilities in the community joined together to enjoy a night they may never have experienced before. Dancing under a disco ball, taking photobooth pictures, enjoying snacks, and visiting with new and old friends. Thank you Trinity Church for helping make this evening a success!
Honduras ESSENTIAL VEGETABLE GARDEN
Funds from the 2022 donations from Trinity are building local sustainability through the Gardens of Life program. This new program has enabled 50 families in Siguatepeque to grow essential vegetables and grains in their own organic gardens. In addition, a master garden was planted at PRODIM, the neighborhood’s program for at-risk children, similiar to Micah House. The garden has become a place for learning and providing healthy veggies for the children with a little extra harvest sold to fund school programs.
uc riverside destino latin outreach
Thanks to Trinity’s Advent Conspiracy, we brought 26 Inland Empire students to our 3-day Cru Winter Conference in January. There is no way we could have brought this many without your help. It was an extremely powerful weekend with over 500 in attendance from all over the West Coast. We watched students hungrily pursue God as they worshipped and eagerly attended breakout sessions. One exciting outcome from the weekend was seeing students applying what they learned to help launch a new college ministry at Chaffey College in Rancho Cucamonga. Thank you for your partnership with us in bringing the Gospel to young adults in the Inland Empire -- we couldn't do this without you.
Mexico Loft House project
Thanks to Advent Conspiracy, two homes were built in March 2023, making two families dream come true. With a small crew of 24, the houses were assembled in record time. The familes were presented with a key to their first home, as well as welcoming supplies to bless them. All of Trinity was a part of this fantastic project.
