Light & Power
Light & Power is an Adult Sunday School class that includes adults with cognitive and physical disabilities. Each week we enjoy fellowship, food and participate in a lesson which provides biblical truth and Scripture memory at a level accessible to people with special learning needs.
Class Time
We meet during the third service from 11:15– 12:30 pm in Room M200-202 (upstairs in the Ministry Center). The leaders of this Sunday School class are Jeff & Kathi McNair.
So much more than a classroom...
Besides coming to interact with practical biblical principles, Light & Power members enjoy a safe, supportive, and fun community where they can embrace their uniqueness without fear of rejection or isolation. Each week, we start our class with snacks and conversation. We end our time together by praying for one another, which draws us closer together as brothers and sisters in Christ.
This community goes beyond the walls of Trinity Church. Light & Power stresses interaction with each other and with the larger community of Redlands, including the Rotary and Compact Clubs at Redlands East Valley High School. We have frequent outings like BBQs, pool parties, hikes in the mountains, and attend local sporting events such as ‘66ers games and REV football and basketball games.
Become involved
There are a variety of different ways to become involved in Light & Power class. Drivers are always needed to get members to Sunday School and other social events. Develop a lasting relationship by “adopting” a Light & Power member, invite them over for dinner, take them grocery shopping, or just hang out and encourage one another through fellowship and prayer as you strengthen your relationship. Come and visit our class to get a feel of what we are all about and how you can become a part of Light & Power!
