A note from the team
Today we had an incredible, challenging, heart-breaking, and yet mind-blowing day. As our first day at All Saints' many of those who did not come last year were struck for the first time with the poverty of the place, while those who were familiar with the camp recognized the changes that have occurred in the last year, including the failing health of some of the patients, some who had passed away and the work that has been done by other groups. For the most part, we cleared brush, replaced broken screen doors, and rebuilt dilapidated porches so that people are able to leave their rooms. It was grueling physical work (almost 11 hours of it!), but everyone pulled their weight with a cheerful and willing attitude. Also, during our lunch break, we had the opportunity to interview some of the residents of the camp, learn their life stories, and begin to build relationships with them. We are all exhausted, but full of the joy of doing the Lord's work, and we are excited to continue tomorrow. We will be continuing construction at the camp and later visiting two different orphanages. We hope that you will continue to pray for our team as we work for God's glory, and we pray that we would represent Him well as we serve these amazing people.
Sincerely,
High School Team

Hello Everyone I am doing well. So far all I can say is wow. We are soooooooo
Blessed in the United States. We need to give more of our time and finances. I worked putting in a porch floor in today with a group of students, none of us really experienced in carpentry but we did really well. I cannot write a lot because there is a line please know that I miss you all very much but I am really glad I am here. Michael thanks for the little push you gave me. I love and miss you and wish you were here. Bye for now.

Hello loved ones. You are all in my heart. This place is wild and beautiful but very poor and in a sense, heartbreaking. So far, we have been at the All Saint's AIDS camp rebuilding people's porches (so that they can actually leave their rooms), and clearing brush as well as just loving on the people who are rejected even by their own families. I am exhausted and so at peace to be here doing what I love. Please keep our team in your prayers, and know that I send you all my love over thousands of miles and I never stop thinking about you. With all my heart, Rachel

Hey my supporters, family, and friends. I miss you all soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much. I love you all. I wanted to say that the first day was very LONG!!!! We worked from like 9:30 am to about 7:00 pm. That's a good like 10 HOURS of Hard labor. We chopped weeds and plants that needed to be removed with MACHETES (which was fun, for a little bit), demolished and rebuilt some of the people's decks, did interviews and let the people know what we are doing this week, and re do some screens. Well, got to run to bed. PRAY FOR SLEEP!!!!!

Hello everyone! I am pleased to report that our first couple days have been great :]. Our first day of work was today. It went well! We built patios and put in screen doors and talked with people at All Saints. It was definitely a lot of work, but worth every minute. The weather here is fantastic! The Lord is at work and it's a privelge to be a part of what He is doing! Please continue to pray for enduarace, Christ-like attitudes and unity for our team. I appreciate it so much. I miss and love you all. See you soon!
In adoration of Him,

Hey everyone! I am glad to report that all is well in the Bahamas. I am having a great time and am pumped to be doing work in the Lord's name. So far we have demolished porches at the All Saints Camp and then rebuilt them. We also have used machettes to dig out weeds and chop many plants near the homes. Many screen doors have also been replaced and many living circumstances have been improved. Though witnessing their living connditions is emotionaly drainig; it is also very inspiring and encourging. Tomorrow and Wednesday we are going to orphanages to help tutor and spend time with the kids. I am so thankful to all of my supporters for giving me this opportunity to serve God's people and I wish you could see the impact we are having on all of the people's lives. I miss you all and can't wait to tell you more!
Many thanks,
Alyssa

Hey everybody! So far everything in the Bahamas is going great. It is so amazing working here doing God's work. So far we have repaired a ton of screen doors, we have rebuilt porches, weeded lots of plants, cleaned up trash, and have gotten to know so many
amazing people at the All Saints Camp all in one days work. It has been so cool being able to listen to the people at the camp and share God's wonder. It is so humbling to watch the joy they gush with when the have so little. I am so encouraged to continue working this week and we will be going to an orphanage on Tuesday and Thursday that I am looking forward to and we are taking a field trip to a zoo which will be tons of fun! I can't wait to tell you guys more and show you ALL my pictures that I've taken!
Love, Jessica

It was a long day's work repairing and replacing screen doors. It was amazing how much I was stretched out of my comfort zone and how fulfilling that was. I am enjoying working for God's glory, and I look forward to the work ahead.

Hey everyone, I am having a great time! The plane ride was ok but we were flying all night and got to the Bahamas at around 10. It has been fun seeing people that I remember from last year and meeting new ones.
