Living Sacrifice

Galatians 2:20 | Romans 6:6 | Romans 12:1

The rich man said,
“I’ve earned it all,
I travel far,
Have houses tall’
A fancy car, but
You can’t hang with me.”
My Savior said,
“I own it all,
With arms apart
Saved from the fall,
Now you’re a part
Because you hang with Me.”

No one is truly independent. If you accumulate a fortune and become famous or politically powerful are you truly self sufficient? Try living without food for months, without water for days or without air for minutes and you will see how dependent you truly are. Those are the basic needs that God Almighty gives us and yet we choose to worship the idol things of the world that ultimately have no meaning. “Jesus paid it all, all to Him I owe.” (John 14:6/John 3:16/1 John 1:8-9)

One Response to “Living Sacrifice”

  1. Carlos luevano says:

I agree entirely. It’s better to have little and depend on Christ than to be rich and to depend on the world and its illusion of riches. Praise be to God for his rich mercy and undying love on the cross.
