Earlier this month the Missions Core team dedicated a plaque at the Missionary House to the late Roberta Gibbs. Roberta was a member of Trinity Church who had a special heart for missions and missionaries. She was instrumental in starting the Sunday morning missionary prayer group in 1994 and even visited some of our missionaries in Africa. She especially wanted missionaries to have a place to stay when they came home on furlough, even insisting on moving out of her house for six months to allow a missionary family to live here. When Roberta died in 2001, she left this house to Trinity Church as a place for missionaries to stay when they come home.
